The pie charts data presents the information about people employed in different kind of jobs in the United Kingdom in 1991 and 2001. To begin with, I would like to mention that the majority of people worked in the field labelled “Other” during both periods of time, covering approximately fifty precents of the job types given in the pie chart.
In 1991 Managers, Technicians, Professionals and people working in “Service & Sales” covered almost a half of the job types in the UK. As I have already said, the other half was taken by “Other” type of employment. As we can see from the pie chart, the amount of people working in the field named “Service & Sales” have had an impressive growth during the decade, compared to other job types.
In addition, the percentage of technicians in the country in 1991 was the smallest, in comparison with other types of jobs, but by 2001 the percentage of technicians have got a massive growth, getting equal to managers and professionals.
