Overall, it can be clearly seen that all four of the represented countries relyed on either fossil fuel or hydropower as the main source of electricity. It is notable that only Sweden widely used nuclear power, compared to other countries which did not use it at all or used it far less than Sweden.
India and Vietnam widely used fossil fuel for energy production. 81.9% of all energy in India was produced by it, followed by 56,3% doing so in Vietnam. A proportion of hydropower used for electricity supply was much higher in Vietnam compared to India (43.7% vs 14.6%). As for nuclear power, Vietnam did not use it at all, while 3.5% of Indian electricity was produced by it.
In terms of countries which main source of energy was hydropower, the significant portion of Maroccos’ electricity was produced by it, amounting to 95.5%. The remaining 4.5% is accumulated by fossil fuel. In contrast, Sweden relies vastly on two energy sources, which are hydropower (52%) and nuclear power (44%), and, similarly to Marocco, uses fossil fuel as a source of electricity very little (4%).
