The given pie charts illustrates the proportion of the amount of electricity produced by fuel source in Australia and France between the year 1980 and 2000
In generally, coal dominated as a source of electricity in Australia over the 20 years followed by hydropower slightly increasing in its power production. Consequently,Natural gas produced a lot of power within the period in France with oil and coal producing a stable electricity
To begin with,in 1980 Australian electricity was mostly from coal having produced half of the units and by 200 significantly increased and produced three quarters of the total units.while hydro power contributed 20 units in 1980 and increased by 16 units to 36 units in 2000.Oil and natural gas had 10 and 20 units respectively and by 2000 it’s production declined to 2 units each
Secondly,in France the highest fuel to produce electricity in 2000 was nuclear power which had experienced a surge of 111 units from 15 units in 1980.Additionally oil produced 5 more units in 2000 than in 1980 having 20 and 25 respectively ,while coal produced a constant amount of electric units over the 20 years.Hydro power and natural gas declined to 2 units each by 2000.
