Overall, chrome was the most significant desktop browser in both years. However, it experienced the most significant remarkable decline, whilst the figure for other browsers dipped , apart from that for edge and safari .
The biggest desktop browsers in 2019 was Chrome, with 69%. However, Chrome decreased by 2%, but it still took first place with 67% in 2021. Although, Firefox decreased from 9% to 8% in 2021, Firefox gave its place to Edge in 2021 , with becoming the third highest browser . However, it saw the smallest share in 2019, then rose by 4%, from 5% to 9%.
The remaining three competitors had a tenth of the total in 2019. Chrome is different from all of them because it had 69% in that year and also had the highest percentage in 2021. In terms of other browsers, all fell by 2% in 2021.
