The pie charts illustrate exports of products from different EU nations to India and China in the two years, 2000 and 2001.
In 2000, three EU countries exported the largest proportion to India, these are United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany, in order of 29%, 25% and 15% of goods. While China’s imports from EU countries are led by Germany and France, in order of 38% and 13 percent. India imports items in the same year in proportions of 1% to 8% other 8 countries of EU. In the same way, most of the EU nations export percentages to China in between 9% to 2 percents of goods. However, in 2011, the import percentage from the EU to China was dominated by Germany, with almost half 48%, while the other 10 countries held the rest. Though in Indians import became more balance accross EU nations than before. Whether Garmany became a big exporter this year with 25% but others contries hold a strong position in export numbers to India. Though the United Kingdom lost it’s supirioty to Belgium.
In both years, EU exports saw several changes. While export proportions to India became more balanced from 2000 to 2011, in the case of China, it was mostly dominated by germany in order.
