In 1983, oil plays the most essential role in producing energy, which had a 42 percent of proportion. Following up with coal which produced 23 percent of energy. Afterward is nuclear power which had generate one fifth of energy. To add on, natural gas hold 11 percent of the section of energy production. At last, the remained energy is produced by hydropower which is four percent.
In 2003, oil still plays the most crucial role in energy production, which produced 38 percent of energy. Whereas, coal is reduce to 11 percent in 2003. For nuclear power, it increased from 20 to 24 percent. While for natural gas, it soared to 23 percent. Last but not least, hydropower remains unchange which had 4 percent of proportion.
In conclusion, both oil and coal’s proportion were decreased, while nuclear power and natural gas’s proportion were increased, only hydropower remains unchange.
