These charts illustrate the transformation in the percentages of energy made up in two different period of a country. There are five types of energy compared, it is hydropower, oil, nuclear power, coal, and natural gas.
In 1983, the highest energy productions came from oil energy with a little less than half percentages. Followed with a slight decreased around 4% in 2003. With the same amount of change, nuclear power experienced a slight increased an ended in a little less than a quarter.
While oil and nuclear power experienced a slight change, coal and natural gas experienced an interesting changes, where they swap each others percentages. It started in 1983 with coal produced higher than natural gas in around 23 percent. After that in 2003, coal percentage decreased to 11 percent and the productions of it became lower than natural gass productions. While coal productions increased, natural gas produced increased to 23 percent.
Lastly, hydropower energy productions didn’t experienced any changes and the production percentages remain the same in 1983 and 2003, at aproximately 4 percent. It is at the same time the least produced energy in two different periods.
