Overall it is clear that, around most of the visitors came to visit the UK in 1999 as opposed to the year 1981. Whereas museums and galleries were the most popular for the visitors in both years. While wildlife and zoos were the least popular among the visitors in both years.
Regarding Museum and zoos, in the year 1981, around 48% chose it as their favorite spot. However, in the year 1999, it slightly decreased and accounted for 38%. In terms of theme parks, which was the second favorite attraction for tourist and in the year 1981 represented with portion of 32% but followed by the end of the year 1999 it rose with 37%.
Historic houses and monuments were the third least popular spots for tourists. Moreover, in both years it remained same with the percentage of 16%, respectively. Conversely, wildlife parks and zoos were the least favorite among the visitors who came to the UK. In the year 1981, only 4% of the visitors visited it. However, it slightly rose in the yea 1999 and accounted for, 9%.
