The pie charts illustrate China mobile media/entertainment daily time spent between March 2016 and March 2018. As can clearly be seen, March 2018 accounted for the most hours. Meanwhile, the proportion of social networking decreased slightly. Nevertheless, video increased. In addition, the segments of game, audio and reading were equally common shares.
To begin with, in March 2016, the proportion of social networking was the highest, at 60%, and follwed closely by video and game, each accounting for 13% in March. On the other hand, reading accounted for the smallest share, stood at 3% in March 2016.
At the other end of the scale, the proportion of social networking experienced a substantial decline to 47% in March 2018. Moreover, the segment of video initially stood at 13% and later surged to 22% in March 2018. However, the proportions of game, audio and reading were equally common shares in both years.
