Overall,the highest figures in the charts can be seen in the percentages of the users aged 18-34 and 34-49.Additionally, these 3 social platforms are the least used by the oldest group(65+).
Going to the details, main users of these 3 sites are young adults (aged 18-34) and the middle-aged (aged 35-49). The former age category is made up over a quarter of Facebook(29%) and Youtube (26%) audience.Their share is 40% in terms the use of Twitter, being the highest percentage in the graph.By contrast, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter have almost similar percentages of the latter age group with around 30%.
Regarding the percentages of pre-seniors and teenagers, the former is responsible for about a fifth of the users of each platform, while teenagers share almost the same proportions in using Facebook and Youtube (14% and 15% respectively) as opposed to just under 10% who use Twitter.
As regards the figures for the elderliest account-holders, one in ten years of Facebook and Youtube are aged over 65, whereas this age group comprises only 4% of Twitter users, being the lowest proportion in the given graph
