The pie charts compares the mean consumption of food between the world and two countries (india and china) in 2008.
Overall, it is noticeable that for nuts and seeds along with vegetables and fruits, the highest consumer is china, In contrast to processed food consumption whereas the rest of the world is leading in it. Moreover meat consumption, in which it’s highest consumer is india.
The highest mean proportion of consumption for nuts and seeds, is detained by China, where as it was estimated at 19%, it is closely followed by india at 11%, for the rest of the world its value is at 4%. The tide doesn’t change for fruits and vegetables, in which China is still leading at 32%, however the proportion of consumption for the other countries is still considerable sitting at 29% for the World and 23% for india.The trend shifts when it comes to processed food, as the remaining countries are leading with a mean of 41%. We find in second place China with a value of 39% then finally China. Similarly to animal food, whereas the percentage of consumption for the World is at 26%, 27% for India and 15% for China.
