Overall, the category “listening to music” has the same proportion for boys and girls. While girls mostly read books, this proportion is the smallest percentage for boys. However, there are some activities boys do not have such as dancing, gymnastics, and netball and girls do not have basketball, skateboarding, and soccer.
The proportion “listening to music” stands at 10% for both girls and boys. In contrast, although the category “reading” accounts for 2% for boys, this makes up 21% for girls. Moreover, the largest proportion was computer games among boys, which shows 26% and for girls, the percentage “dancing” shows the biggest proportion, standing at 27%.
The proportions skateboarding, soccer, and basketball make up 11%, 17%, and 26%. The proportions gymnastics and netball represent 11% and 15%.
