The given two pie charts illustrate surveys result of children’s activities. The first pie chart presents the cultural and free time activities done by boys, whilst, the second pie chart shows the participation of girls in various activities. Unit used here is percentage.
Overall, boys had highest participation in computer games, followed by basketball. Whereas, dancing and reading had greatest percentage of girl’s participation.
Regarding the first chart, computer games had the highest participation of boys at, 26%. In addition, Reading had the lowest percentage, at 2%. Listening to music, is the only activity that is common in both chart which accounts for 10% each.
In second chart, in girls cultural and leisure activities, dancing has the highest percentage, at 27 per cent, while, computer games accounts for 16%. Followed by reading which is just over one fifth. However, listening to music was least leisurable activity by the girls, at 10 percent.
