In general, the cafe has become more modern and comfortable. There are more services for customers, including a coffee bar, a takeaway counter, outdoor seating and a children’s play area. However, the kitchen and the toilets are still in the same places.
Before the redesign, the kitchen was in the top left corner. In front of it, there was one serving area where customers could buy all food and drinks. Most of the cafe was filled with tables and chairs. On the right side, there were two small staff dining rooms. The entrance was next to the toilets in the bottom right corner.
Today, the serving area has been changed into a hot meals counter. A takeaway food counter and a coffee bar have been added in the middle of the cafe. A salad bar has also been placed along the left wall. The staff dining rooms have been removed, so there is more space for customers. Outside the cafe, there is now an outdoor seating area with several tables. A children’s play area has also been built near the entrance. Although many parts of the cafe are different now, the kitchen and the toilets have not changed their locations.
