The maps demonstrate a village in the United Kingdom in 2000 and now. Overall, the main noticeable change was construction of more houses, which make the village more residential, and cutting the trees.
In 2000, there was several houses on the northwest side of the village, and restaurant and hotel at the same side of the road. Farmland and farm were occupied southeast side of the road, with few shops’ facilities next to. Adjacent to this on the southeast side was pub and shoe factory, which was empty by that time.
Now small town considered to attract more citizens, since houses were expanded. Moreover, clutter of trees and farm was removed, to make more space for houses. At the same side of the road, near pub and shoe factory situated new playground. However, restaurant and hotel remained at the same place on the north side of the town, it is became empty buildings.
