The diagram illustrates the changes made to a particular building floor since 1984. In general, the area has undergone significant transformation. The storey, which originally functioned as an office, was converted into an apartment containing new rooms serving different purposes in 1985. It was later altered again and transformed into a flower shop, with the addition and removal of several functional rooms. Notably, the kitchen stood out as the only area that remained completely unchanged, despite the floor undergoing major changes throughout the period.
Between 1958-1984, this level of building functioned as an office, with various office related rooms. Manager office was the biggest room in the area situated to the east of the building, and northern and southern side of this room were the kitchen and a reception arena respectively. On the other side of them were a meeting room, an assistant’s and secretary’s office before a tiny toilet located in the south-west corner of the floor. It is also worth noting that the kitchen was left untouched.
By 1985, there had been transformed into a completely different area and was used as the apartment for the following 15 years. All rooms were demolished on the western side of the building to make way for two substantial rooms, living room and bathroom and shower. Where the manager office and reception arena once stood, there was now bedrooms attached to each other, bedroom 1 and 2.
At present, it is now used as the flower shop, having first been converted for this purpose in 2001. The bathroom and shower were torn down, and a play area was built in its place, while a room for gift cards and area for flowers now stand on the site, which previously occupied by the living room. The kitchen again remained completely unchanged, whereas an office and another area for flowers were built in the place, which was previously used as the bedroom.
