A glance at the two maps provided informations about the ground floor of a library and it developments across the period stretching from 2001 to 2009.
The overhaul of the revised library is readily apparent, particularly in the development of new facilities with modern establishments.
Delving into specifics, there was entrance in the south of the building, while the central area was occupied by several tables in 2001 which were reduced in size and stood in a row. The fiction area located in the northern side was replaced to the western side and converted into tables, offering more advantages for residents. On the east side, newspaper and periodicals were repurposed into films and dvds. Furthermore the self-help and history departments were took the entire place of western side, but the decade later, these departments were shrunk and replaced to the western edges. Moreover, there were added some new facilities (namely kitchen, economics and law) in a row.
In contrast, the librarian’s desk and the stairs took over their previous locations, while the two computers departments were constructed in the eastern side.
