The diagram illustrates the ground floor of a library in 2001 and after the redevelopment in 2009. When compared with both years, the library had undergone significant changes.
Overall, we can say that, in 2001, when entered the Library, straight was the reception desk. The right side had the stairs and opposite to that was the self-helped column. While, besides that, it had a History section.
On the opposite side of the Entrance, the Fiction books collection was kept. The library had the Newspaper and Periodicals on the east side. However, the square-shaped tables were in the middle of the room with a total of eight, and a pair of two each.
Further, after the redevelopment, the desk and the stairs remained at their same location, while the books collection has been upgraded with more number of books set which include Kitchen, Economics, Law, previously collection of History, Fiction, and self-helped rows.
