The two plans show the layout of a university sports centre now and how it will change in the future after redevelopment. Overall, the sports centre will become larger and more modern, with more facilities added for students.

At present, the sports centre is simple. In the middle there is a 25 metre swimming pool, with a gym located to the north. There are only two changing rooms, one in the west side and another in the east side. The reception is in the south entrance. On both sides of the pool, there are outdoor courts which take a lot of space.

In the future, the outdoor courts will be removed and replaced with many new facilities. On the west side, there will be a leisure pool next to the changing room. A sports shop will also be added near the reception. On the east side, there will be a large sports hall, a café, and another changing room. The gym will also be expanded to the north, becoming larger than before.

In conclusion, the future plan shows that the sports centre will be improved with more indoor facilities and less outdoor space, making it more useful for students in all weather conditions.
