The plans compare the current layout of a university sports centre with its proposed redevelopment in the future.

Overall, the sports centre will be significantly expanded, mainly through the reconstruction of outdoor courts, while the central facilities will remain unchanged. Several new amenities, such as leisure pool, sports hall, café and dance studios, will be added.

At present, the centre is organised around 25-metre swimming pool in the middle, with seating on the eastern side and a changing room to the west. The gym is located to the north of the pool, whereas the reception areas lies to the south near to the main entrance. In addition, large outdoor courts are situated on both sides of the building.

According to the future plan, the western courts will be replaced by a leisure pool, accompanied by a new changing room to its south. Meanwhile, the eastern courts will be converted into sports hall, with two dance studios added in the north-east. A café, sports shop and extra changing room will also be constructed near the entrance, while the central facilities will remain unchanged.
