The given map illustrates the development that took place in Beechwood farm from 1950 till today.
Overall, it can be seen that the farm has been modernized by constructing a road in place of track along with new facilities for public tourism and making it self-sufficient in energy production.
In 1950, the track connected the road to the Beechwood farm with wide space for sheep. The barn and farmhouse were on the right side of the track. The chickens were at the back of farmhouse. Fruit trees, soft trees and vegetables were being grown in between track and the river that was flowing along with farm. Fruit trees were right beside fruit trees.
At present, the farm has been developed into a place where people can come for holidays and relax themselves. The track is being transformed into a road for convenience of public coming to the farms. A car park has been built right next to the main road and one at the right end of farm, most probably for holiday cottages. New camping field has replaced the area that was reserved for sheep in 1950 with some solar panels being installed at the right end of farm. The barn is relocated just beside the farmhouse and chicken and joined directly to the farm road. Furthermore, holiday cottages are constructed in the place of barn. All the trees are left untouched except for a small farm shop in the fruit trees zone, in the joint between the main road and farm road.
