When one enters the airport, there is now a check-in area and a café, however, the plan envisions replacing the café with a lower-left corner, making space for the check-in counter and adding a bag drop facility where the check-in counter used to be. In terms of the arrival area, new facilities such as a café, an ATM, and car hire are anticipated to be constructed, necessitating the enlargement of the building.
Although security, passport control, and customers are forecasted to stay unchanged, the proposed innovation illustrates shops immediately upon the departure space. The largest alteration involves transforming the walkway into the sky train and constructing 2 additional branching corridors, leading to doubling the number of existing gates (8 at the moment and 18 for the upcoming years)
