The given plans indicate the site of the mining town in the past and after recreational in the present day. Overall, it appears that town has become a much more modern with more entertainment facilities. There has been significant alterations except with parking.
It is clear that, if we look at the eastern part of the map in the past, there was office, staff’s changing room, and parking lot in eastern part, and there were significantly changes since present day. Office and staff’s changing room have been replaced by an Museum but parking lot remained unchanged.
In terms of western part of the town, Waste pot 1 and Waste pot 2 have been turned into driving truck track and picnic area. Additionally, children’s playground is added to western side of the mining town. Mine entrance remained unchanged but it was used for workers in the past by now it is used by visitors. Medical room and Lorry park have been converted into cafe and food path.
