The map shows a harbour in 2000 and the picture how it looks recently. There are has been several changes, the most noticeable being the increase in buildings and accommodation, the shifted of marina private yachts and fishing boats and the introduction of new docks and shops.
In 2000, to the northern east where the sea is there was only a dock and passenger ferries with a public beach next to it. On the west side of the map there was Marina private yacths, shower and toilets with car park in front of it that connected to the main road. Fishing boats and another car park located to the south are of the map and connect it to the road to lifeboat. Moreover, to the south east of the porth harbour there was a previous castle with another public beach surround it.
Turning to the present day map, it can be seen that there has been built another docs, and public beach remained same. On the west side, Marina private yacht being replaced by the fishing boat, while showers remain, as dosed the car park. The fishing boat that located to the south has been replaced by marina private yachts and the construction of the new showers and café and shops beside the lifeboat. Furthermore, the castle has been disused and change to hotel and the previous public beach turning to private only for the hotel facilities.
