The given diagram gives information about how supply chain management works while simultaneously maintaining flexibility, quality and speed.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the process consists of 7 steps and is circular, starting from order logging and planning and ending with support step.
The process begins with the product planning stage, where orders are logged and planned in the first place. After orders have been logged, the work on product design and development is done, completeing the first stage.
Turning to the 3rd step, producing part begins, where everything starts with a procurement. Once procurement step was surpassed, manufacturing of orders takes place. Afterwards, the second stage ceases and the transportation and formal stage begins. Transportation stage begins, when acceptance is confirmed, before sending out the cargo. As soon as the orders are accepted, logistical part finally begins, where merchandises are delivered. Before starting the whole process again, support step takes place.
