The diagram depicts various steps involved in the process of hydroelectricity.
Overall, it is obvious that the process consists of six stages starting with the collection of water and ending with the consumption of electricity.
In the first step of the process, water from the sea is evaporated by the heat of the sun to create the clouds. With enough amount of steam, clouds will start to rain and the water from this will be collected into a reservoir. In the following step, water in the reservoir is controlled by a valve. When this valve is opened, water run by flow into the turbine to create electricity, which is consequently driven by high voltage cables, and the water use in this step is pumped again into to the original reservoir.
In the next phrase, electricity is transported to a transformer station by high voltage cables. In the transformer station, electricity is adjusted to be appropriate for costumer’s demand by decreasing the voltage of original electricity. Consequently, the output of last step is now driven by underground cables, which distribute electricity to various type of costumers such as households, factories, hospitals and schools.
