In 1984, 30% of students that studied a foreign language were boys and girls show 48%. In 2007, these data completely changed, by decreasing female percentage to 40%, and male’s to 25%. In the second bar chart, a visible change is shown in the French language percentage decresed by twice from 50% to 25%. The interesting trend is that Spanish language learners increased from 8% to 12%, this positive change only occured in this data.
