The overall analysis of the data indicates that it underwent several changes in terms of the number of participants. Additionally, there is the removal of Music appreciation, and the replacement of IT with local history.
To begin with, the Modern Languages course was the most dominant in the initial year, accounting for 24%; however, it dropped to 17% this year, becoming the third. In contrast, music course appreciation was the least attractive, with only 8% of students participating in 1985, and was subsequently removed. This is followed by a fitness and dance course in two periods that had a similar percentage (22%), taking up one-fifth.
Turning to the remaining, Art course experienced a slight decline by 2% (from 17% to 15%); meanwhile, the cookery course increased by 5% in the last year (19%). Finally, local history took up 15% in 1985, and was replaced by IT course, which gained the most popularity in this year(27%).
