The charts illustrate the information about the source of police budget and how they were distributed among salary, technology, buildings and transport. Overall, the maximum source for the budget is from the government, which is mostly consumed by salaries for officers and staffs. In addition, local taxes and funding for technology were increased significantly in one year.
The total budget was increased from 304.7m to 318.6m between 2017 and 2018, while the national government contributed more in both years, with a slight increase of around 2 units. The local taxes contributed more for the total increase as it went from 91.2m to 102.3m, while other sources rose only 0.5 units over the period.
Salaries for the working people consumed most of the budget in 2017 and 2018, however, the money spent on this was decreased from 75% to 69%. The funding for technology contributed the least share but increased by 6% within a year. Meanwhile, the budget for building and trasport didn’t change and remained in 17% in 2017 and 2018.
