In 2017, National Goverment 175.5m, local taxes 91.2m and other sources such as grants provided 38m. In 2018, these numbers are 177.8m for National Goverment, 102.3m for local taxes and 38.5m for other sources. The table shows the police budget of 2018 is 13.9m more than the police budget of 2017.
The budget was spent on three different items according to charts. In 2017, 75% of the budget was spent on officers and staff salaries. Of the remaining 25%, 8% was spent on technology and 17% was spent on buildings and transport. But officers and staff salaries increasing to 69% from 75% and the money was spent on technology decreasing to 14% from 8% in 2018. And the budget spent on buildings and transportation remains constant at 17% in 2018.
