This charts informs us about the police budget in million pound for 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain. We have a table shows where the money came from and a charts demonstrate how it was distribueted.
In the begging, the table presents the main sources of the police budget which in total 304.7m on 2017 and it is separated to three parts of incomes, the first part is the national gouvernment source which is 175.5m, while the second was from the local taxes and it is equal to 91.2m. The last part was from other sources as grants for example.
Secondly, the budget for 2018 was from the same sources as 2017 and even numbers are approximate. The total budget was 318.6m and it divided to 177.8m from national gouvernment, 1.2.3m from local taxes and the rest 38.5m came from other sources.
Analysing the charts give conclusion that the huge part of spendings in 2017 and 2018 goes to salaries (office and staff) with 75% and 69%. However, other costs are much lower, for example on 2017 and 2018, buildings and transport have 17% of spendings. Otherwise, the rest was spent for technology costs; 8% on 2017 which increased to 14% by 2018 as the technology become more developed year by year.
