The table illustrates data on passengers who arrive or departure at the six major airports among London in 2012.

Overall, the Heathrow airport was the most popular all over the time but was the second close to central London. However, the Southend was the least among passengers but at the same time had the highest change from 2011. Meanwhile, the change from 2011 in total slightly rose.

The Heathrow airport which had the biggest amount of passengers (70 million)among airports in London was the second closest to the central London (22km) from 2011 to 2012. The second most popular airport was Gatwick with 34.2 million passengers during the same time period. Meanwhile, the Stansted was the furthest 64 km but stayed in top 3 the most popular airports (17.4 million), while in the same time had the lowest change (-3.2%).

The London city airport was the closest to central London 11 km but had one of the lowest amount of passengers 3 million.
