The table below illustrates the information about the amount of tax collected (as % of GDP) in five countries for 4 years between 1975 and 2005.
Overall, the country had all the biggest amount of tax in five countries: Sweden, USA, Korea, Japan and Turkey from 1975 to 2005 was Sweden. In 1975, the country had the second place was USA with 25,1% and after it was the third place which was Turkey with 16,4%. In 1985, the second was Korea which had a huge increasing. Next was USA with 25,4% tax.
On the one hand, in 1995, USA’s tax had the second place. Then Korea’s tax had a slightly decrease which from 27% decreased to 26%.
On the other hand, in 2005, USA’s tax had a very small increasing which was from 27,1% to 27,4% and only had the third place which was same place with Turkey. Japan’s tax had the second place and they had a big change which from 23% increase to 32,1%.
