Sweden stood out as the dominant country over the entire timeframe, beginning at 46%. It experienced a stable increase at a much slower rate, from 47% in 1985 to 51% in 1995. Sweden’s tax collection surged to 70.1% in 2005. while the percentage of tax in the USA remained relatively stable, starting with 25%. This figure remained steady before it rose sharply to 27.4% by 2005.
Although Japan started the fewest proportion, it experienced a significant growth. Its starting with 15%, following 16% and 23% in 1985 and 1995, respectively. This figure surged to reach its peak at 32.1% in 2005. Korea showed a significant growth, beginning with 15% and increasing to 27%. Although this figure saw a slight decline in1995, it recovered again to 27.3%. In the similar trend observed by Turkey, its percentage of tax was 16.4% at the beginning and faced some fluctuations. By 1985, its amount decreased to 15% before increasing sharply to 24% in 1995 and to 27.4% by the end of the given period.
