The chart below compares the tax collected as a GDP in percentages in five different- Sweden, USA, Korea, Japan, turkey- over the period from 1975 to 2006, three decades. Overall, Sweden recorded consistently the highest numbers, but the lowest ranked overall country was Korea. By the time frame all five countries experienced increase.
In 1975, starting from Sweden, in taxes collected it was the dominant and starting from 46 percent, it underwent gradual growth and in 2005 recorded its peak with about 70 percent. Turning to turkey, despite mild fluctuations it increased in last year.
By contrast, the other two countries was not the part of the Europe. Korean tax like CDP, by 1985 seen dramatic climb by 12 percent and by the end of the period with strong fluctuations reached approximately 27%. Focusing on Japan, which has underwent gradual upward trend starting from 15% in 1975 and doubled its taxes by 2005. Despite this two Asian countries, the USA regarded step-by-step climb from about 25% to 27,4%, in 1975 and 2005 respectively.
