Looking at domestic use, Canada has the highest amount at 20 percent. New Zealand uses 10 percent, while Egypt uses 8 percent and Saudi Arabia uses only 6 percent.
For industry, Canada uses the most water at 70 percent, followed by New Zealand at 46 percent. Saudi Arabia uses 30 percent for industry, and Egypt uses the lowest amount, which is 10 percent.
Finally, for agriculture, Egypt uses the highest amount at 82 percent. Saudi Arabia also uses a lot of water for farming at 64 percent, and New Zealand uses 44 percent. Canada, by contrast, has the lowest agricultural use, accounting for just 10 percent of its total water consumption.
