Overall, it is clear that comedy recorded the highest percentage of income from ticket sales, whereas biopic had the lowest share of all releases. It is also noticeable that the remaining types of films were released with minimal numbers, creating minimal business income.
Looking first at Drama, Documentary and Comedy genre, drama and documentary recorded 35 flames, which were the highest figure of releases among these categories. It had 23.6% of share in total releases, with ticket sales amount at 8.3% and 2.9%, respectively. Comedy followed at 26 number of releases with 17.6% from all films which was the highest income share from ticket sales. Moreover, a very small proportion of released movies produced in the biopic with only 1 feature and 0.7% of all production.
Turning to remaining genre, Horror stood at 14 releases which was second highest film in terms of incomes 20.2%. thriller experienced 13 debuts out of 100 with 1.3% income. Other showed 8 releases with 3.2% profit. Crime, action, and romance showed the lowest number throughout the period in all categories – number of releases, percentage of all releases, and percent of income from ticket sales made them the lowest genre in the chart.
