Overall, it is clear that unlike food, drinks and tobacco percentage of money utilization on clothing, footwear, leisure and education was minimum in the given time period.
As per the data, Turkish spent the highest amount of money on food, drinks and tobacco, accounted for 32.14%, followed by, citizens of Ireland who utilized 28.91% of income. Italians, Spanish and Swedish used 16.36%, 18.80% and 15.77% on food, drinks and tobacco, respectively. Moreover, in terms of clothing and footwear, 9.00% spent by Italians while this proportion decreased for Irelanders, Spainish and Turkish which was almost from 6.43% to 6.63%. Sweden citizens spent 5.40% money on these items.
Furthermore, the corresponding figures observed in the proportion of spending by Italy and Sweden consumers on leisure and education, stood at 3.22%. These items were the least popular among Spain’s population and they expend 1.98% on them, the percentage increased to 2.21 % for Irelanders. Turkish spent most on leisure and academics which was 4.35%.
