Moreover, the highest proportion of daily requirement spending was observed in Turkey, at 32.14%.
On the other hand, the other two categories showed the lowest interest among the public of all five countries. Ireland had 6.43%, Spain had 6.51%, and Turkey had 6.63% of expenditure on clothing and footwear. In particular, Italy recorded the highest figure for clothing and footwear at 9%. Finally, leisure and education displayed the lowest percentages of all categories, under 5% in every country: Ireland (2.21%), Italy (3.20%), Spain (1.98%), Sweden (3.22%), and Turkey (4.35%) in 2002.
