As Turkey led the spending in food/drinks/tobacco and leisure/education, Italy was ahead of other nations in clothing/footwear.
Turkish consumers allocated 32.14% of their total expenditure on food/drinks/tobacco, and was closely followed by Ireland, 28.91%. Spain, Italy, and Sweden all spent under 20% in this category. However, Italians led in clothing/footwear spending, with 9%, whereas the other four countries spent only around 6%.
Regarding leisure/education, all five countries spent no more than 5% in this category, in which the Turkish spent 4.35%; the Swedes and the Italians, 3.22% and 3.20% respectively; the Irish and the Spaniards, 2.21% and 1.98%.
