Overall, it is clear that seat comfort and legroom emerged as the most crucial feature for both genders and age groups, whereas entertainment options were consistently considered the least important factor. Additionally, male travelers prioritized comfort more than females, who placed a higher value on attendant service and catering.
Regarding physical space, seat and legroom was chosen as the top consideration by 46 out of 100 older men (45+) and 39 younger men (25-45). Women also rated this feature highly, with figures standing at 35 for the older demographic and 30 for the younger group.
In contrast, service and dining preferences revealed a higher priority among female travelers. Attendant service was favored by 34 younger women and 30 older women, compared to 27 and 26 men in the respective age categories. Similarly, 31 older females and 26 younger females ranked meals and drinks first, whereas male responses for this category were lower, at 24 for older men and 20 for younger men.
Finally, in-flight entertainment recorded the lowest numbers overall. It was favored by 14 younger men and 10 younger women, while dropping to just 4 respondents for both men and women aged 45 and over.
