The tabular data illustrates the result of an airline survey in 2011 of the economy class male and female visitors of various ages. The numerical data demonstrate that in-flight feature ranked first of different categories as the highly significant.
Overall, seat and leg room are most preferred by 45+ age group of males. In contrast movies and in-flight entertainment are less preferred by 45+ females and males.
To begin with, females of 25-45 age group are 30% in the seat and leg room, 45+ females are higher by 5%. Meals and drinks are 4% less than the seat and legroom in the both age group(25-45, 45+). Moreover, attendant service of females was 34% in the 25-45 age group, where as the 45+ age group was the 30%. Movies and in-flight entertainment are the less preferred as compare the other categories 25-45 age was 10% and 45+ age was 4%.
Furthermore, males are higher as compared the female in seat and legroom 39% were in 25-45 age group and 46% were in 45+ age group. Meals and drinks are less compared than the female by males in the 25-45 age by 20% and 45+ age by 24%. Additionally, attendant service was the 27% of 25-45 age group of males and 26% of 45+ age group of males, both are similar data but lesser than the female age group. Where as movies and in-flight entertainment of males are less in the age group of 25-45 and 45+ by 14% and 4% respectively.
