The diagrams give information about attitudes of three various age groups to two aspects, namely range of books and non-print materials of the library.
Overall, it is clear that library visitors at the age of above 40 who considered range of books satisfactory showed the largest proportion, whereas the smallest number feel not good about them. And as regard to non-print materials, most young readers at under 15 commented them as not good. There were also people who didn’t respond at all, mostly, adults above 40.
Looking at the details, most of the youngsters under 15, at 55%, rated variety of books as very good, while the less majority, at 32% consudered them as satisfactory, and only 13% of the total think that they are bad. Whereas, the majority of 15-39 age group find them satisfactory, accounting for 49%. Very good and not good categories selected significantly less, at 27% and 26% respectively. For elderly readers, range of books is satisfactory, as they represented 62%, meanwhile 28% goes for very good and only 10% for not good.
Non-print materials like computer sofrware and library database were widely disliked by younger generations, as 52% of them found it not good, and 25% and 23% commented them as very nice and satisfactory in turn and there were no one who didn’t comment. the half of 15-39 age groups on the other hand, liked it. Remained votes were splited to satisfactory, bad and even 2% of them didn’t respond at all. And finally, the most of adults 40 didn’t comment too, representing 48%. And for other 22% and 19% non-print materials were not useful and satisfactory in turn. And only 11% were completely satisfied with them.
