The table compares the behavior of male and female citizens in the United Kingdom while unemployed in 1982 (information is shown in percentage of time spent and divided in morning and afternoon for both gender groups).

Overall, the time spending activities are given on the left column, some of these include: home activities, job hunting, sports, social activities, and leisure. The time is presented in gender groups in the morning and in the afternoon. Additionally, it is clearly seen that men preffered the most spending time in job hunting (22%) and television (14%) during the morning and the afternoon respectively, whereas women mainly spent their time in housework in both time sections (49% in the morning and 21% in the afternoon).

Drinking (2%) and staying in the bed (1%) were the least preffered activities made by the male gender in that year, and females also made the similar choose with the variation of drinking (1%) and playing sport (1%) in the morning and staying in bed (0%) and playing sport (0%) in the afternoon.
