In the past year, jobless UK people have spent their time throughout the different times of the day in different activities.
In the morning, nearly half (49%) of women took part in house works whereas only about one-in-five men do same thing. Searching for vacancies (22%) and shopping (20%) the first and second were most common, respectively, among men in the morning. Likewise, shopping and looking for jobs were very common morning routines of women next to houseworking. In addition, significant number of men spent their morning in gardening. However, only few women take care of entertain in gardening. They instead go for a visit to their relatives and friends. Drinking in the morning was by far the least common practice by both men and women.
When look at the afternoon activities of enemployed citizens, largest proportion (12%) of women spent doing different houseworks. Whereas, largest percentage of men spent their afternoon watching TV. Considerable percentage of women also visit their friends and relative as well as went for shopping. In addition, no women stayed ib bed in the afternoon.
In conclusion, the routins of jobless British individuals varies across the time of the day and the individual’s sex.
