Overall, it can be seen that France and the USA were the most favorite destinations for visitors compared to the other three countries; however, the incomes that came from tourists were the highest in the USA and Spain. Except for China, there was a slight increase in the number of tourists in all four countries in 2012 and 1013.
To explain in more detail, the number of international visitors in France increased from 83 to 85 million in 2012 and 2013 while there was an over 3.5 million tourists increase in the USA within one year. Similarly, in Spain and Italy, the numbers increased approximately between 1 and 3 million by the year 2013. Conversely for China, the trend dropped to 55.7 million from 57.7 million.
The revenue from international tourism varied according to the numbers of visitors. The tourist expenditure was increased from 126.2 billion dollars in 2012 to 139.6 billion dollars in 2013. The other four countries, such as France, Sapin, China, and Italy, their revenues from the tourism industry were ranging from between 61 to 40 billion dollars in 2012 and 2013.
