However, there was a slight difference of 1,100 dollars between Japan and Germany, at $4,800 and $5,900, respectively. In terms of housing, Japan and the USA spent the largest amount of money, $12,300 and $11,200, respectively. Moreover, the UK and Germany showed an average spending at $9,800 and $8,600, respectively. Moreover, in transport the USA stood at $4,000, compared with $3,500 for the UK, whereas Japan recorded the lowest figure at $2,700, Germany had a lower the the USA at $3,900. Similarly, the USA in two categories namely, healthcare and entertainment recorded $5,600 and $3,900, compared with $4,200 and $2,700 for the UK. Furthermore, there was a noticeable difference of 700 dollars between Germany and Japan in healthcare, at $3,100 and $3,800, respectively. In the last category Germany had only $2,500 for entertainment, compared with $3,200 for Japan.
Turning to the pie chart that displays the distribution among these categories. The figure for food & beverages recorded 25% in 2022 , compared with 35% for housing. However, there was a noticeable difference of 2 percentage points between transport and healthcare, at 15% and 13%, respectively. The last category was entertainment that accounetd for 12% in 2022.
