Telecommunications experienced the biggest growth, increasing by 61% from 7.9 to 12.7 billion. Metals also saw a substantial increase, more than doubling from 2.3 to 5.1 billion, representing a 122% growth.
On the other hand, Clothing and Manufacturing both decreased in 2010. Clothing exports fell by 17%, from 6 to 5 billion, while Manufacturing dropped by 27%, going from 5.5 to 4 billion. Overall, the total exports saw a rise of 20%, increasing from 32 to 38.4 billion HK dollars.
In conclusion, most sectors showed positive growth, especially in Metals and Telecommunications, while Clothing and Manufacturing experienced a decrease in export values.
