The table illustrates the number of car production in three different countries namely: Argentina,Australia,Thailand from 2003 to 2009. Overall, the number of cars in Thailand and Argentina saw an upward trend during the period, the opposite was true for the amount cars in Australia. Another striking feature is that the figure for car production in Thailand consistently outperformed the other which had the largest number of cars produced between 2003 and 2009.
In 2003, the production of cars recorded in Thailand was 735,852 cars, which was considerably higher than the number of cars in Argentina, at 235,008 cars. In the next three years, the figure for cars manufactured in Thailand increased significantly to a peak of 1,162,356 units. Moreover, the other figure rose slightly and reached 352,759 cars. Although the amount of cars produced in Thailand slightly decreased in the last term of the period, it still remained unchanged as the highest quantities at nearly 1.000.000 cars, compared to just 486,089 data in Argentina at the same time.
Around 452,163 cars produced from Australia in 2003. From 2003 to 2009, this figure increased significantly before reaching 245,624 units, which was half the amount of cars in the first year.
