Alberta university, hosting 1,500 international students in 2019/20, showed a notable rise of 93.3% in the number of students, reaching 2900 students in 2020/21. Similarly, Calgary university, registering the lowest number of 1,250 students in 2019/20, reached 2000 students, demonstrating a rise of 60%. Also, Ottawa university, starting with 2,000 students initially, reached 3100 students, by an increase of 1100 students.
British Colum university, owning the highest number of 3,800 international students in 2019/20, showing the least growth, witnessed an increase of 1800 students, reaching 5,600 students in 2020/21. Meanwhile, Toronto university with an increase of 1800 students reached from 3,200 students in 2019/20 to 5,000 students in 2020/2021. Furthermore, McGill university with an increase of 52.7% reached from 2,750 students at the start of the period to 4,200 students at the end of the period.
